College Facilities

Heights College is proud of its well-equipped classrooms, flourishing landscaped grounds and information technology systems and equipment. In 2017, we are building a new Kindergarten facility which will house three Kindy classes. The nearby Early Learning Centre provides a beautifully equipped area, comprising three classrooms, play ground and double toilet block, for our Preparatory students to begin their schooling journey.  Hoseenu was completed in late 2008 and currently houses four of our Primary year levels.  Five similar classroom blocks provide general rooms for our upper Primary, Middle and Senior Schools. We are also blessed to have a Multipurpose Centre (MPC), used for Physical Education, sports events, College Assemblies and community events. Our Performing Arts precinct, incorporating specialist facilities for drama, music, band and creative arts, is on the lower floor of the MPC.  Other purpose-built areas are the Learning and Leadership Centre (houses the College Library), the Home Economics and Hospitality Wing, the Science and Language Centre, the Eastern Library Extension, Tuckshop, computer labs and Visual Art workshops.

All classrooms are air-conditioned and have tinted windows. They are equipped with electronic whiteboards and the whole school has wi-fi connectivity.  There are many shaded and open spaces for all students to spread out and stretch their legs during morning tea and lunchtime. These facilities are a tremendous asset to our College and the wider community.
